At Pestgo we carry out a lot of termite control. One of the ways we keep termites out of homes is with a monitoring system. These systems have a series of monitoring stations in the ground around a building and are checked regularly. This particular one is installed at The Oaks near Camden.

Termites are silent but they do leave signs

There are many different signs that termites have attacked a monitoring station. In the video above a small area has been filled with “mudding” a mix of soil and faeces which certainly is a tell tale sign. Sometimes the termites will completely fill the station with “mudding” as in the image below. It is only through regular thorough monitoring that termites are kept at bay.
